Summary

Upon the failure of refreshing extract of SQL Server data via Tableau Bridge, no notification email is sent.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Prepare Tableau Desktop, Tableau Bridge on Windows and MSSQL ODBC Driver.
  2. Modify TabBridgeClientConfiguration with "extractRefreshTimeout" : "00:03:00", (default 24:00:00).
  3. Restart Tableau Bridge.
  4. Connect to your site from Tableau Bridge.
  5. Launch Tableau Desktop 2024.3.
  6. Connect to MS SQLServer from Tableau Desktop then define a data source e.g. joining two or more tables with full-outer-join so that the extract refresh job runs longer than "extractRefreshTimeout"
  7. Publish the data source to Tableau Cloud site and schedule the refresh extract.
