Summary

Users may experience app crashing on Salesforce for iOS using an iPad updated to iOS 15.5 after our 236.060 update.

This crash only occurs when using the "Legacy Salesforce1" tablet experience.

Steps to Reproduce

Log into Salesforce for iOS application on iPad iOS 15.5 device with an organization that has the "Legacy Salesforce1" tablet experience enabled.

Workaround

We suggest that organizations affected by this concern migrate to the full-width "Lightning on tablet" experience on iPad as soon as they can.

The "Legacy Salesforce1" tablet experience will be retiring in Spring '23.
