Lightning Report displays error if the user changes to Classic UI to subscribe to it, and then switch back to Lightning

Summary

Reports employing Conditional Highlighting that are created in Lightning Experience, then scheduled to run in Classic return the error "invalid cross reference id" when the report is later run in Lightning Experience.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a report in Lightning Experience.

2. Add conditional highlighting.

3. Switch to Classic UI.

4. Schedule the report (Schedule Future Runs).

5. Switch to Lightning Experience and access the same report

6. Note the following error:
Error Details
invalid cross reference id

Workaround

1. In Lightning Experience, open report list.
2. Use the dropdown menu next to the affected report to select "Edit (Salesforce Classic).
3. Click Save.
4. Once the report is saved in Lightning Experience after the schedule is created in Classic, the report no longer errors.

Conditional highlighting is not currently supported in Lightning Email Subscriptions. To show conditional highlighting in Lightning Subscriptions, use the report as a dashboard component and subscribe to the dashboard.
